Maria Reinhardt joined our staff in 1999 after running her own successful veterinary practice in New Jersey for fifteen years.

She is known for her holistic approach, often supplementing traditional treatment with alternative modalities of care such as herbal and homeopathic remedies.

Over the years, she has also developed a special interest in the medical and surgical treatment of ears.

Maria Reinhardt was born in the Azores and speaks Portuguese fluently. Today, she is a resident of Bristol, Rhode Island, where she lives with her two children, Elizabeth and Matthew, and three dogs, a Standard Poodle named Meme, a Bichon named Chloe and a mixed breed named Jamie. Dr. Reinhardt particularly enjoys the cats she sees at work because her children's allergies rule out cats at home.

Outside the office, she enjoys gardening, reading, travel and yoga.
